Tanya Dyer earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Dakota and a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from Minnesota State Mankato. Her 10 years of experience at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute (formally Courage Center) have allowed her to gain extensive experience in in all facets of Vocational Assessment, Counseling, and Transition.  As a Vocational Evaluator, Tanya has experience working with individuals with both congenital and acquired disabilities, including people with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, chronic pain diagnoses, and people with Autism.

While at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute (CKRI), Tanya developed and led a transition services programing for young adults designed to help develop skill sets that promote independent living, successful workforce entrance, and attainment of academic goals.

Her tenure at CKRI also provided the opportunity to work as the lead Vocational Counselor for the Residential Chronic Pain Rehabilitation Program.  Her time with the interdisciplinary care team allowed for a unique insight into the proper care and counseling of individuals with chronic pain.  Specifically, she enjoyed helping implement functional and creative plans for injured workers dealing with the impact of chronic pain.

Tanya made the transition to private practice in 2018.  She now provides a full array of vocational services to Raderstorf, Bey & Dyer (RBD) clients, including vocational assessment, adaptive technology consultation, career counseling, job seeking skills training, and labor market research. Tanya became a partner at RBD in 2020.
